Come June 11th, a decision will most likely be made on whether or not this show will return from the dead. I have strong hopes (and reasons to believe) that Back to You will get a renewal from some network.
But I can't speak for everyone - what do you think? Will Back to You get renewed after all? Or will it stay cancelled? What do you want to see happen, and why?
Please, email Us at somoskin97@comcast.net or sheedy@worldband.net to share your thoughts with us! Just tell me what you think will happen with this show, and I"ll post it right here, with your name and everything, on this site! Feel free to do it whenever - I just want to hear what everyone else (besides me) feels about this show, and how much they think we actually have a chance of getting it back!
You can also email me with any questions you have about the show, and any other concerns or thoughts you have about this site, and I'll email you right back! Make your voices be heard!!
This show is so incredibly great, I can't even begin to tell you why it deserves to come back for a second season. This sitcom is the greatest we've seen in years - it easily outshines every other new sitcom this season. If you look at the ones that have been renewed . . . Til Death (don't even get me started on that), Big Bang Theory (which has only been managing a little more than BTY, and that's a CBS show!), Samantha Who? (which, IMO, would be nothing with Dancing with the Stars), According to Jim (can only only manage less than 4 million an episode), and Miss Guided (which was meant to be only a one-time show during the strike. ) All these shows completely do not deserve to be renewed over Back to You.
One thing I don't completely understand is why Back to You is being cancelled over Til Death. It consistenly outperformed the show in households and total viewers, and the majority of the time in demographics. It has built on Til Death since coming back from the strike every single episode. I know the show may cost a lot to produce, but with the strike-shortened season, this show DESERVES to be renewed.
Next, every episode has been consitently good since the pilot. Kelsey and Patricia have amazing chemistry with each other, and we just cannot waste this show. The characters were still developing, and FOX has basically screwed the show over themselves with all the "midseason retooling" they did. If they wanted the show to die a slow and painful death, why not just tell us and get it over with?
Do you agree or disagree with me? Do you want to add your opinions and why you think it should or should not be renewed? Just email me with your response at somoskin97@comcast.net, and I'll post it on the site as soon as I get it. Make your voice be heard!
